Bio on our Guest Expert:
Dr. Adrienne Castrovinci began her journey to become a chiropractor at the age of 13, when she experienced stress fractures in both of her wrists while involved in competitive gymnastics. Her parents were already under chiropractic care and they did whatever they could so that she did not have to undergo surgery. She continued with care into her college years and made the decision to pursue a career in chiropractic medicine following her experience as an athletic trainer at the University of Minnesota.
One year after graduating from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 2003, Dr. Adrienne opened her own practice in Eden Prairie. Since that time, Healthy Living Chiropractic has catered to all individuals seeking optimal health and wellness, with a focus on athletes, families, and children. In 2006, she completed additional training and obtained the post-graduate designation of a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP). This instruction is specific to the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of athletic injuries in children and adults. In early 2014, she completed an additional certification in Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP). This additional coursework has strengthened her knowledge and skill set when working with pregnant women and children, and she is also certified in the Webster Technique.
Dr. Adrienne has become one of the leading health and wellness advocates in Eden Prarie. She volunteers her time to speak with local businesses and charitable organizations to educate the hundreds of local residents on the healing power of the body, and the overall benefits of healthy lifestyle choices.
She currently resides in Eden Prairie with her husband and two young daughters.
